We need your help!
We are looking for volunteers to help for half a day at the NZ House & Garden Tour in the Bay of Islands on Friday 14th of February, in support of Breast Cancer Foundation NZ.
We are desperately short of volunteers at the moment! We are currently struggling to fill the spots.
As a thank-you for your time and assistance, you will be provided with a free ticket to spend the rest of your day touring the exquisite homes and gardens. So, it’s such a great opportunity to check out eight beautiful homes around the Bay of Islands.
Interested? Phone us on 0508 105 105 or email volunteer@bcf.org.nz
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
