This requires no key; just take your child or adult and enjoy the swing. I have seen the smiles on disabled children's faces, and I am over the moon that we accomplished this fundraiser.
Already underway is another round of fundraising for a wheelchair-accessible sea-saw for Whangarei.
Children with Disability New Zealand aims to educate and improve understanding of the needs of disabled children and adults. This isn’t just limited to walkers and cyclists – we also want to hear from walkers with pushchairs, and people who use wheelchairs, mobility scooters, skateboards, skates, scooters and e-scooters! But we're especially keen to hear from people who would use walking and cycling paths in Tikipunga.
We’d love to hear from young people and school students too, so if you know any then please encourage them to give their feedback.
We’ll be at the growers' markets from 7.30am to 9:00am and at the Canopy Bridge from 10:00am to 11.30am to hear your views. We’ll also be at the Tikipunga Markets on Sunday from 7.30am to 9.30am.

I almost feel like asking for Wayne Brown to come up from Auckland and banish those in charge to lower Turkmenistan. The intellectual vacuity behind these 'safety measures' is unbelievable. I repeat: there was no work going on on Kamo Road, no workers were near Kamo road, except the two guys with stop-go lollipops.
Seriously, folks.

Of course, it goes without saying, the 'lost revenue' will be passed onto us tax payers. Yet more spoon feeding?
