New Sell On Behalf Recycled Women's Clothes Shop Opening 3 June
I noticed recent Neighbourly posts about op shops being so expensive now. And thought I would share my daughter's (aged 15 years) new business venture. It is not an op shop and it won't help those looking for dirt cheap clothes but it is fashion on a budget for those looking for quality clothes at reasonable prices.
On 3 June (tomorrow) from 10am to 3pm Olivia and friend, Eva will be opening a pop up shop at the old Women’s Rest in Hastings. They are selling used clothes on behalf. Brands from Kilt, Charlo, RPM, Country Road, Tommy Hilfiger, to Glassons, Cotton on etc.
They have worked so hard and I hope that it is a huge success, from what I have seen so far I am sure it will be but I am totally biased.
If you want to join in their success you can sell your quality unwanted clothes at Ivy, email: ivystore13@gmail.com or pop in tomorrow and check it out. You can also check out their website www.ivystore13.wixsite.com....
Olivia even designed this gorgeous logo.
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.

Cleaning a heat pump
Hi everyone. Can anyone recommend a reliable and reasonable company to clean our heat pump. We used it on cold for a couple of days and when turning it back to warm it has a smell. We get it serviced yearly but the firm we use is expensive.
