Part-time Dog Walker Position Available

Tabitha from Hastings Central

Hi!
We have not long moved up from Wellington to be closer to family and to franchise our dog walking business here (www.houndhiking.com). We are looking for a part time dog walker to help take 3-4 hikes a week regularly for us. Each hike is 1-1.5 hours long and we go to a variety of off leash hikes as far out as Ocean Beach so the hikes take 3-4 hours when including driving to collect and drop dogs off (from all over Hawkes Bay). Start time is 8:30/9am (days flexible at this stage, but Monday-Friday). Dog confidence is important, as well as the ability to take great photos of the dogs (see photos below). The hounds are off leash the whole hike and we have a maximum of 7 hounds at a time. We provide full training plus a pet first aid course before you take hikes yourself. A full drivers license is a must. We provide the van to use but you will need to make your way & back to Hastings to collect it. Each hike is a fixed rate of $70 per hike and you'll be working as a contractor to us. If this sounds like you, or someone you know, please send me a message with some info of your experience with dogs and photography. Please only apply if you are looking for part time work not full time.

Thanks! Tabitha

Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? πŸ›»πŸš¨πŸš“

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?

What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?
