Full length thermal curtains needed
Does anyone have any (cheap) 2m drop thermal curtains they don't need anymore? I'm so cold I don't even care if they are mismatched.
I've just moved into a house that has beautiful sun exposure but is freezing at night. I have a heat pump on 23β, but there is an un draped aluminium glass door right next to it and a wall right in front of it, so there is virtually no heating at night. The curtains on the other windows are all short and summer weight, and I suspect, there is no insulation in the ceiling, despite the slab of polystyrene I can see through the hole in the attached garage ceiling. I managed to acquire a set of thermals for my sons room but the rest of the house is beyond me.
Whoever put the heat pump in should be hung drawn and quartered. They could only have put it in a worse place by putting it in the garage.
I think I'm also going to have to get a window vac. 3 hours with the windows open and they are still soaking wet.
Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? π»π¨π
In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?
What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?
-
36.2% The sting of a fine (Money talks!)
-
63.8% The threat of demerit points (Nobody wants to lose their license!)
