Fundraising for a community workshop
I’ve checked with the Neighbourly team and this doesn’t violate the t&c’s.
Re-New is at the stage now where we are wanting to create a workshop for upcyclers and creators of sustainable goods, artworks, sculpture, furniture etc. to work out of and sell their creations and re-creations.
But to do that, we need to raise some serious money.
We are aiming for $50,000 (plus $5,000 to cover fees) to rent and fit out a workshop facility, with an office and retail area.
Please, if you haven’t already, take a look at our website Re-new.nz and see what we are about. If you like what we are trying to do, please donate. Any amount, $1 or $1,000 would be put to good use.
Visit givealittle.co.nz... to learn about our plans and to donate.
Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
