Inflation π
The smell of that first kick off, the sound of the engines roaring and the crowd watching in anticipation as the first race begins. Eyes fixated on the race, the oohhs and aahhs when you see/hear the first crunch of the night, and the cheering as the driver gets out and is fine.
So the time has come. No longer an inexpensive and great way to pass a spring/summer/autumn night. Adored by many children and inspiring drivers.
The price has gone up, out of reach of many, especially the young, keeping them out of trouble and off the streets for a night of fun filled adrenaline.
We will miss you Meeanee Speedway.
We just cannot afford to visit you like we did the past few years.

What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?
-
32.6% The sting of a fine (Money talks!)
-
67.4% The threat of demerit points (Nobody wants to lose their license!)
