Holiday burn out
Well folks, we are half way through the holidays and I'm already burnt out. Anyone else feel the same?
So far I have sliced through a 35m extension cord with a hedge trimmer; backed my car into my bike and munted it (wouldn't have been as bad if I hadn't got a tow bar attached a couple of months ago); broken a wine glass; broken my new phone screen (it's cheaper to replace the phone than to replace the screen, and I haven't even paid it off yet!); just about to run out of firewood (didn't expect winter to make a come back); my house is a bomb site and my kid caught a wicked cold (with seasonal allergies thrown in for good measure), so we haven't been sleeping through the night, for the past week. And there is still a week to go! πββοΈ
So, how are your holidays going?
Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? π»π¨π
In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?
What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?
-
32.6% The sting of a fine (Money talks!)
-
67.4% The threat of demerit points (Nobody wants to lose their license!)
