Solid Rimu freestanding workstation

Julie Cronin from Te Mata School Home & School Committee

Is anybody looking for a fantastic centre work island for their kitchen or maybe a bar/becue leaner, or even a workbench for arts and crafts or their garage? This would even make a great breakfast bench with bar stools.

There are about half a dozen old solid Rimu workstations from the Intermediate School Home Ec room. They have built in cupboards and shelves and despite the eye-watering baby blue paint they are in fantastic shape. The worktops are even in nearly mint condition!

The tops measure 70cm deep x 125cm wide x 80cm high. I put steel casters on mine and it's going to be great when I get the paint stripped off. And, it was only $25! Want one now, don't you?!

There are also art stations with removable top stands and casters on the bottom; single and double wooden school desks; shelves and bookcases. Plus more.

Pop into the school by the end of the week to have a look or grab one. Any left next week will be sent to the auction house and they will charge a lot more than $25!

Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? πŸ›»πŸš¨πŸš“

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?

What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?
