Napier's drinking water is being chlorinated as a 'precautionary measure'
Napier's drinking water is being chlorinated after a reservoir returned a positive test for E.coli.
Napier City Council said it was treating the city's water supply as a "precautionary measure" while it awaited further test results.
The council said the positive E.coli indicator came from a test at its Enfield Road reservoir which services most of the city during periods of high demand.
