Large block of Hawke’s Bay land for sale
An area of Hawke’s Bay land was rushed through a re-zoning process two years ago to meet the region’s building demand, is now being sold without a single house being built.
Labelled as Iona Terraces on the outskirts of Havelock North, the 41.9 hectares of mixed land and slope stretching between Iona road and Middle road is being sold by Bayleys. Bayleys real estate agent James McPherson said the property was listed last Thursday with expressions of interest already being received.
“The vendors decided they didn’t want to be ones to develop it, it’s a very large development and it will be a very big project, but an exciting one at that.”
