Cranford Hospice urgently needs volunteers for our Retail Stores in Napier, Hastings and Waipukurau. Roles include friendly retail assistants, people for our busy storerooms, and delivery & pick up drivers. Shifts are available Monday to Saturday to suit your schedule. This is a great opportunity to connect with other like-minded people, have some fun, and support your local hospice.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
