Forest & Bird Youth Fighting For Nature
Come and support Hawke’s Bay’s fledgling Forest & Bird Youth Hub. It is part of a nationwide effort by Forest & Bird to get young people (14-25) taking action for nature “as youth, with youth, for youth”.
Speaker Jake Kerehoma, 20, will talk about plans for litter cleanups; a possible urban pop-up shop, and joining online hui across Aotearoa New Zealand. She will also ask the audience for their ideas and help. So come along whether you’re old or young and be part of shaping our future. Our amazing Hillary Hikers from Edmund Hillary Village showed their support for Bowel Cancer New Zealand's Move Your Butt campaign this month!
Sporting the bright purple and orange campaign shirts, these wonderful walkers hit the Auckland waterfront and marched from Mission Bay to Kohimarama, raising awareness for bowel cancer and the importance of early detection along the way.
