Hawkes Bay Knowledge Bank

The Knowledge Bank is getting more and more donated records, papers, photos, etc. The volunteers are doing their best to make inroads into all this but we could definitely use more people to help. If you have time on your hands, have the desire to learn some new skills, can type or like history, we would love to see you. The work can be as much or as little as you can handle - at the Knowledge Bank or from home - my wife and I do both but we have the time to do it as well as the interest. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
