The Knowledge Bank is getting more and more donated records, papers, photos, etc. The volunteers are doing their best to make inroads into all this but we could definitely use more people to help. If you have time on your hands, have the desire to learn some new skills, can type or like history, we would love to see you. The work can be as much or as little as you can handle - at the Knowledge Bank or from home - my wife and I do both but we have the time to do it as well as the interest. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
