Jar’D Seriously Good Eats

Danielle from Havelock North

My name is Davey Howarth, I work locally as a chef. Together with my wife Danielle we have started making Jar’D chutneys and relishes.

We are a small business that has just recently started in Havelock North. At the moment we sell online and are currently in Bellatino's.

Everything is manufactured in the Hawke’s Bay at Cape Kidnappers Lodge.

I use local suppliers for all the fresh produce and take great care with what I’m trying to achieve from the ground to the plate. All chutneys are made by myself to ensure consistency of the final product.
You can find us on Facebook. For further information please contact us:

Robots are stepping into repetitive roles in factories, plants and warehouses. AI is taking care of the admin tasks that once filled many mid-level office jobs.

We want to know: As the world evolves, what skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
