Visitors flood Coromandel after mayor’s call
Visitors appeared to have taken the Thames-Coromandel mayor’s advice and headed to the region in droves over Waitangi weekend as the district tried to bounce back after recent storms.
The deluge damaged a number of homes including flooded homes in Whitianga and others in Tairua red stickered.
