Hamilton's oldest surviving church went for a ten-hour trip on the back of a truck.
St Paul's Methodist Church used to be on London Street in the Hamilton CBD, but a new life awaits.
It arrived in Te Kōwhai on Tuesday morning and will be turned into a cafe.
"[In Te Kōwhai] the whole town came out to have a look in their pyjamas," said Abby Daly from Uplifting Homes.

Derelict Tokanui Hospital site in line for a clean-up
Derelict Tokanui Hospital buildings will be demolished and contaminated land cleaned up so the site can be offered back to iwi.
The former psychiatric hospital, southeast of Te Awamutu, sits on land taken from Ngāti Maniapoto under the Public Works Act in 1910.
