Royal NZ Navy Band In Concert - this Sunday!
Hello Waikato Music Lovers. The Royal New Zealand Navy Band is coming to the Plaza in Putaruru for a Sunday afternoon concert. The Band has never been to the Plaza and we’re thrilled to finally be getting a chance to perform in the heart of Putaruru.
Tickets are only $15 for adults and seniors, $10 for students and only $5 for children. Tickets are available here and at the door on the day.
We can’t wait to see you all there.

Derelict Tokanui Hospital site in line for a clean-up
Derelict Tokanui Hospital buildings will be demolished and contaminated land cleaned up so the site can be offered back to iwi.
The former psychiatric hospital, southeast of Te Awamutu, sits on land taken from Ngāti Maniapoto under the Public Works Act in 1910.
