We caught up with Dr Angela Campbell, PhD Manager of the WellSleep Centre, University of Otago, Wellington and she provided us with some insights into the most common symptoms women might experience whilst going through menopause, which are insomnia, hot flushes, snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea. Dr Campbell states, “these are all common side effects of menopause and can affect up to 70% of women.” So, if you’re experiencing sleepless nights and suddenly disturbing your partner with this new-found snoring, you’re certainly not alone.
If you are experiencing these symptoms, you might be interested to learn that Patney offer an effective, non-invasive and temperature neutral solution that can assist with controlling your snoring - the Patney sleep positioner, has undergone independent validation testing by the WellSleep Centre, Otago University. We are so confident about the Patney sleep positioner that we offer a 30-day money back guarantee. For further information head across to our website at www.patney.com

Hamilton City Council and Waikato District Council have teamed up for a unique event on Saturday 16 June from 10am where dogs and their owners can navigate their way through a mud-filled obstacle course.
Hamilton’s Animal Education and Control Manager Susan Stanford says it’s important to try new things and provide unique experiences for dog owners.
“We’re excited to have joined forces with Waikato to pull together this really unique event for dog owners,” says Ms Stanford.
Waikato’s Animal Control Team Leader Megan May says their teams aren’t just about enforcement.
“Our animal teams want to be able to give back to the good owners of our areas and give them an opportunity to participate in a fun event with their dogs,” says Ms May.
The Dirty Dog Challenge will be an all-day event at the Christian Youth Camp in Ngaruawahia with all profits from this event will go to helping animals in Hamilton and Waikato District’s communities.
Tickets are $30 per dog (one person per dog) and are available through the councils’ websites. This event is open to dogs of all shapes and sizes and will need to be on-lead through the course.
Terms and conditions do apply.
