I have been teaching Violin and Viola for over 25 years and myself and my family have recently moved over to Ngahinapouri. I am available for both Violin and Viola lessons from absolute beginner level through to grade 8 ABRSM. I can teach on a one to one basis or in small groups. My lessons will be tailor made for each child according to his/her ability and level of commitment.
If you are struggling with technique or feel you are not making enough progress. Highly Strung music tuition is for you. I incorporate a wide range of violin methods to deliver an effective but also enjoyable and fun environment.

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

Derelict Tokanui Hospital site in line for a clean-up
Derelict Tokanui Hospital buildings will be demolished and contaminated land cleaned up so the site can be offered back to iwi.
The former psychiatric hospital, southeast of Te Awamutu, sits on land taken from Ngāti Maniapoto under the Public Works Act in 1910.
