Seeking donations of women's clothes/accessories

The Cancer Society is currently looking for donations of clean and classy women's clothes and accessories for its newest fundraiser, Recycle Runway.

We would be delighted to receive your quality pre-loved items including all sizes and types of women's clothing, hats, scarves, handbags/purses, jewellery/watches, belts, sunglasses and shoes (no swimwear, underwear or sleepwear). These will be sold at the Recycle Runway event on Saturday 25 February to raise money for the Cancer Society.

Items can be dropped off at the following locations:

- Cancer Society Office: Cnr Grey & Beale Streets, Hamilton East
- Cancer Society’s Lions Lodge: 32 Tainui Street, Hamilton
- Oosh: 72 Victoria Street, Cambridge
- Playmates Boutique: 46 Alexandra Street, Te Awamutu
- A Little Bit Different: 43 Maniapoto Street, Otorohanga
- Cafe Frock: Cnr Thames & Marshall Streets, Morrinsville (ask for Deborah)

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
