Saturday/Sunday sport types, venues, & fees

Hautai from Nawton

Hi everyone,

I wondered if people could inform me of sports children can participate in on weekends, the cost per child including age group costs if there are variations, contacts of the coaches, the venue and the variation in times for trainings & games.

Thank you to all those who respond.

The archway of the Perry Bridge is gradually taking shape; rising slowly as it is pieced together alongside the riverbank.

A few weeks ago the full design of the bridge was made public. A woven flax design along the deck features blue and green; a resin applied to the surface will also mean the bridge illuminates in the dark.

Adjacent seating and bike racks will complement the structure.

Completion is expected in the next few months and the bridge promises to be a significant feature of the Te Awa River Ride.

We extend a big thank you once again to our sponsors and supporters for making this iconic landmark a reality!

Just a reminder that Te Awa has bikes available to hire! Options are available from the Hamilton Gardens and Novotel Hamilton Tainui. Full day & half day hire is available, with the cost including helmets and bike locks: $30 Full Day or $15 Half Day.

Remember to share your photos by tagging them on social media with #TEAWARIVERRIDE

General Elections (too soon to debate our future leader/s)?

Dean from Dinsdale

Apologies in advance but is now the appropriate time to discuss our future local MPs and our next prime minister?

As an undecided voter I feel compelled to put this topic out there. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is struggling to find worthy candidates
