I am looking after a family members cat while they are overseas (it's their young daughters actually). Anyway, my neighbour has in effect 'stolen' the cat, it started with it going missing for a couple of days, we went looking for it, then I saw a child who was visiting her house come out holding the cat. My husband and I went over and spoke to her about it and she all but made out that she would be keeping him. I explained to her that it belongs to my family member and said it would be going back home (out of town) on their arrival back in NZ. She basically said she would keep feeding it if she saw it which we said well no now you know its got a home (which I am sure she knew already) please don't encourage it. So then it was coming back home then all of a sudden its gone again, she keeps locking it in her house. My husband went over there tonight to talk to her again and reminded her that we are looking after it and it will be going back to its owners and she told him no that it wouldn't be it was hers now! So what can I do??

New Zealand's biggest and most beautiful Christmas Tree
It’s 27 metres tall to the tip of the star. That’s over 6 stories high. It takes a team of 15 people to install the frame and the lighting, fluff the branches and hang the baubles. This tree is huge!
The tree dominates Garden Place once again in 2019 and will be a great focal point for the community to gather, watch, perform and celebrate the festive season.
The tree will light up for the first time on Saturday 30th November 2019 with a special event that includes the opportunity to sing some favourite Christmas carols.
The Christmas Tree continues to light up the December nights right through to New Year.

Staff felt that the public consultation was robust enough to have afforded sufficient consultation. The Hamilton community clearly indicated that they felt ignored and thus brought a petition to Council to have a new assessment of the proposals.
Councillor Wilson was concerned that he could not see evidence of projected parking requirements and thus questioned the validity of the assumptions made regarding the need for the extra parking.
I have always had the concern that two things are amiss in deciding projects of such import as this one about the Hamilton Gardens. The poor efforts in the consultation phase and two the scanty evidence brought to Council for approval.
We will now hopefully see an aggressive briefing and consultation process with the folks of Hamilton and grater clarity of the reasons and motivations for the proposals regarding the future of our Hamilton Gardens.

A recall was issued, but there are still a few thousand cars NZ-wide that have not been repaired due to peoples' contact details being outdated.
Six brands are affected by the recall: Honda, BMW, Isuzu, Mazda, Nissan and Toyota (including Lexus). Concerned owners can check whether or not their vehicle is involved in the compulsory recall here.
