Jim Buckeridge has played alongside his grandkids, but is hanging up his boots
After more than 60 years on the rugby paddock and playing with more grandkids than he’s had injuries, Putaruru’s Jim Buckeridge has finally faced his last hurrah on the rugby field.
The 82-year-old put on the boots and knee pads on Saturday for Hamilton Old Boys in a ten-a-side tournament at the Te Rapa Rugby and Sports Club.
