Oscar Approved School Holiday Camp

Paul from Morrinsville

It's time to embrace yourself with horses and everyone will reap the benefits.
We offer fun, safe and exciting horse riding school holiday programmes that cater for all levels of riders. We will help you develop into the best rider you can be.
Our holiday programmes are a great way to develop riding skills as well as learn all aspects of horsemanship.
Students will find a healthy sense of pride, when they can turn out their ponies ready for a show with plaited tails and, shiny hooves. They will become confident catching and grooming, tacking up and untacking, feeding, cleaning gear and mucking out their stables, what a sense of achievement they will get.
You can bring your own horse, or if you don't have one this programme gives your child/ren their very own pony/horse to care for on their own.
They will take total responsibility for their mount, as well as expanding their knowledge of horses in a family farm environment, where fun safe learning takes priority with our qualified instructors.

Poll: Do you think this was the right decision?

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

Hamilton City Council is defending a $60,000 spend on a flood of water management PR featuring a TV personality as residents face huge rates rises.

At a time of council cash constraints, Te Radar - real name Andrew Lumsden - catches the eye on the council’s Facebook page, where he currently features in three “explainer” video clips about Hamilton’s water services.

Do you think this was the right decision? Tell us your reasons in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
