Due to local COVID-19 considerations at this time we're going online and would like you to join us. At Waikato DHB we want more of you to have a say about what is most important to support your health and wellbeing. This helps us to develop better access to local community services.

Dial in to our friendly forum and share your knowledge and experience as we work together on these matters.

On the agenda:
Topics include - Local community feedback, and discussion on the new health system and localities.

Northern Waikato
When: Thursday 7 July, 10.00am - 11.30am

If interested please email: norma.taute@waikatodhb.health.nz for a link to the meeting. Community Health Forums are a gathering of local people who share in a conversation about what matters to their community and hear what’s happening from the DHB, other health providers and other local organisations/groups.

We look forward to meeting you online. He whakarongo tātou – we’re here to listen

It actually gave me the chills reading what property owners and developers will be able to do from 20 August 2022. How is this sort of radical change happening in New Zealand without public consultation I must ask? And why is the government not paying attention to the rights of property owners and the disturbing negative social and health impacts caused by over densification, etc?

St Andrews - The Evolution of the Old Course: The Impact on Golf of Time, Tradition and Technology

Scott Macpherson. Hazard Press, Christchurch, 2007

Hardcover, large format, 208 pages. Excellent condition.
In this detailed and comprehensive study Scott Macpherson takes the reader on a journey of discovery from golf’s past to its future. This book charts for the first time the nature of changes to the course since 1821. It describes in chronological order the reasons behind those changes, and explains how the best players have won in St Andrews. We see not only the way in which early remodeling of the Old Course changed the game itself, but also how the course has adapted to almost two centuries of considerable technological change to both the ball and club as well as huge leaps in the skill and strength of players
