Hamilton motelier who collected $26.4m in govt cash faces liquidations

A motelier who collected more than $26m in taxpayer cash during the emergency housing boom now faces liquidation for three Hamilton hotel strip businesses over unpaid taxes.

Patrick Loughlin McGuire and Thi Kim Loan Nguyen received $26.4m emergency housing grants between 2018 and 2024.
