Poll: Are you a Te Huia fan?
All three Hamilton MPs appear to be united behind the retention of the Te Huia passenger rail service between Hamilton and Auckland, as well as potentially expanding it to Tauranga.
But whether Hamilton East’s Ryan Hamilton, Hamilton West’s Tama Potaka and soon-to-be Labour list MP Georgie Dansey have the combined power to shunt transport minister Chris Bishop and Prime Minister Christopher Luxon onto their line of thinking remains to be seen.

Superb harmony - Manu Mātātahi at The Woolshed - Sunday 8th March , 3pm
The "youthful songbirds" of Manu Mātātahi, New Zealand's top barbershop chorus, are entertaining at The Woolshed (Te Awa Lifecare Village) next Sunday at 3pm.
In just four years this group has grown from a handful of young enthusiasts to a world-class Chorus of over 70.
International judges at last year's NZ Barbershop Convention assessed them as being eligible to compete at the International Barbershop Convention in St Louis, USA, in July.
The Woolshed concert is part of their preparation for the competition, and chance for them to demonstrate their craft to a Waikato audience. Come along and be impressed by a feast of four-part harmony, waiata, and all-round good vibes!
Tickets ($30) are available from Paper Plus, Cambridge, from Chorus members, by messaging their Facebook page, or phone 0211844570. Sorry, no door sales.
