Vets and Covid Alert Level 2

Craig from Companion Vets

Companion Vets Limited - What to expect at Level 2
Hello to all our valued clients

As you will no doubt have heard – the COVID Alert Level for Hamilton has now been raised to Level 2.

Companion Vets will remain open and we will be implementing some measures to help keep everyone safe at this time including:

• Wearing masks - the CVL team will be wearing masks as sometimes we need to be closer that 2m. We encourage our clients to wear masks too.

• Tracing - We will be encouraging clients to use the COVID Tracer app or our manual sign in sheet.

• Hygiene - We will have a bountiful supply of hand sanitizer and will encourage it’s use.

• Social Distancing - We will be encouraging social distancing especially in our reception. Luckily, this will be easily facilitated through the use of our separate cat waiting area, and our smaller dog and larger dog waiting areas as well as our generous consult rooms.

• Health &Wellness - As a precaution we ask you to please postpone your appointment if you are not feeling well, or if you or a household member have been tested for COVID and are awaiting a result.

Finally – please feel free to ring us if you need to make a plan to fit with your situation – we are only a phone call away!

Kind regards,

The Companion Vets Team

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

Car parks inspired a milking shed design that took off around the world and became a piece of Waikato District history.

A hundred-year-old church and gravestones from the 1880s will also feature as the district turns the spotlight on its past for its first Heritage Day on April 20.

Turn downsizing stress into strength

Linda Jones Retirement Village

Downsizing can open the door to a new stage of your life that is rich in opportunity. However, it can be a daunting prospect. If you are embarking on a new chapter of life, the thought of shedding familiar possessions can feel even more stressful. This can be true even if the life changes are a good thing, such as a move to somewhere you will love to live.

Once you understand why you have this feeling, you can reframe it as creating a new environment that will support your present life while reminding you of your best experiences.
