Satellite-based data has revealed the New Zealand regions where the worst speeding offenders drive.

On a per-capita basis, the Tasman Police district is the worst with an infringement level of 1.01 over four years. The region includes Nelson Bays, the West Coast and Marlborough. It was the only area surveyed to break the 1:1 ratio.

The second highest was Waitemata (0.82), followed by Waikato (0.74). To read more, click here

Waikato band the Harmonic Resonators have been playing together for about two years, after meeting through the Morrinsville Country Music Club.
And they get some pretty emotional responses to their performances.
They have translated a couple of country tunes into te reo, but "mainly countrify Māori waiata", lead singer Jeremy Hantler said.

A man who makes handcrafted metal guitars and a 12-year-old performer will be part of the Fête de la Musique (World Music Day) in Hamilton this weekend.
Roger McLay moved from hobby tinkerer to steel resonator maker about two-and-a-half years ago and has made about 16 guitars in that time.
Sean Lurman is the youngest member of the Hamilton Blues Society, and his playing has made a few jaws drop.
