My front fence has been damaged on several occasions in the past 6 months. I've reported it to the police but nothing seems to be done about it. Last night I heard a loud bang and thought it was car that smashed into my fence again but only to find out it was a couple of teenagers. My neighbor got into his car and chased after them but they ran down Fairfield college and into the gully. I am quite frustrated because my fence is a boundary line aluminum fence which was quite expensive but it is completely damaged.
I'm just wondering if we should perhaps set up a neighborhood watch if anyone on bankwood rd would be interested, could you pm me please.

Now ex-councillor Mark Donovan says the busyness of a new job, frustration over the pace of council decisions and family commitments are the key factors behind his change-of-heart resignation from the city council.

The fiscal conservative’s departure - which means potential for less voting power on what’s seen as the council’s “right” - also comes amid niggles from other councillors about his recent attendance at meetings.

Tokoroa’s architecturally-designed, award-winning, million-dollar Leith Place toilets are set to be bowled because they are “not fit for purpose”.

Despite being only four years old, the flash dunnies have seen ratepayers constantly spending a pretty penny on maintenance since they were built with the elegant outhouses’ pipes too small for the job - despite their goal of attracting thousands of passing travellers to stop in the town’s main drag.

What do you make of this situation? Tell us your reasons in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).
