Relocation of Local Vets to New Premises

Craig from Companion Vets

Hi everyone, there seems to be some confusion out there.

3 Local Veterinarians including Dr Craig Brighouse and Dr Fran Sandbrook are no longer practicing on Te Rapa Road. Craig and Fran are now at Companion Vets.

We are the team that won the 2018 vet practice of the year award and we are now at our new, independent, locally owned and operated vet practice Companion Vets at 46 Church Road in Pukete.

Our Purpose is Pets

To acheive our purpose we have surrounded ourselves with a team of experienced local nurses including our nurse leader Alice Gasnier who won the 2017 veterinary nurse of the year award.

If you have dealt with us in the past and know our team, you know we are experienced in delivering exceptional pet care and customer service.

To make an appointment either call us during opening hours on
07 2223337
or use our online portal via our website www.companionvets.co.nz... to book anytime, day or night.

For all you parents and caregivers out there we have the most essential need and that is easy safe offstreet parking!

But wait there is more!

Our new clinic caters for the vast differences in our client pets with separation of quieter small dogs from larger boisterous individuals in reception to minimising feline stress completely with a separate quiet cat waiting room away from dogs provided.

We have two operating theatres, dental room, two radiology rooms and a beautiful sunny workup space for inpatients.

We are very pleased that we can offer a comfort room with external entrance when it come to those very difficult and stressful end of life decisions.

We have plenty of photos and videos of the practice, inside and out on our Google Maps location at 46 Church Road if you want to view the facilities. maps.app.goo.gl...

If you wish to join our practice there is an online registration form on www.companionvets.co.nz... or email your details to info@companionvets.co.nz to be contacted.

All the best from the Companion Vets Team

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
