No Victora Street Swimming pool, no Founders Theatre, no Celebrating Age Centre result people will not come into CBD, and now one of the only Kiwi Banks is also moving out. When affordable community facilities are disappearing in the CBD how can you attract the public to CBD to enable the shopkeepers to keep their doors open for business? The public will go to The Base where even the banks are open on weekends, soon we will find more empty shops in the city center.
