Maybe it is just me but I find this whole 'Black Friday' international marketing campaign offensive on so many levels. Even 'Black November'. Attached is what I remember as 'Black Friday'. I was fire and medical rescue on the day. The advertising campaign is insensitive to the meaning of the term and beyond that it gives no recognition to the ongoing campaign 'Black Lives Matter'. Maybe it is just me but if you are having a 'SALE' then advertise it as a sale and not some dark marketing theme that has no meaning other than enticing people to spend money. My thoughts are not necessarily the thoughts of my wife or others but every November I have to relive that dark day.

Whenever you’re trying to cook something for the first time, especially if you’re not a ninja in the kitchen, it’s always a good idea to find easy recipes so you don't get too overwhelmed.
These are all easy and guess what? They all actually taste good.
I know… Shocking.
So, why use zucchini noodles? They’re a real impasta!
By using zucchini noodles instead of regular wheat noodles, you can help improve your digestion and increase your intake of nutrients.
I'm sharing a Thai Prawn and Peanut Zoodle dish, a Chicken and Edamame Zoodle Soup, Zucchini Noodles with Basil Pesto and Chocolate Chilli Beef Zoodles.
Now that we have our noods in order what are you waiting for?

With so much going on this time of year it’s easy to get caught up in the festivities and forget about others, especially those having a difficult time.
Whether it’s an elderly neighbour who lives alone to a family on your street working hard to make ends meet, reach out to someone who could use a little extra joy in their life and remind them what the holiday spirit is all about!
Other ideas include fundraising for a local charity, doing a food or toy drive, organising a ‘Secret Santa’ gift exchange on your street, giving a present to a neighbour who helped to make your 2020 better, or even host a community Christmas lunch.
Let us know how you’re giving back in your community in December by emailing: info@neighbourhoodsupport.co.nz

I was just talking to an unofficial source ( my Mum ) , and apparently due to the Covid regulations regarding booking the 14 day Quarantine Restrictions , Santa mightn't be visiting this year .
I've been a really good boy all year too -- I hope it hasn't been a waste . . . . . . . .
