The Hamilton Chinese Sports Day is a family event organised by the Rainbow Chinese Community Centre (RCCC) and a few other major Chinese community organisations in Hamilton.

Since it first started in 2009, the event has become one of the most significant annual Chinese community events in Hamilton. During the years, it has attracted participants from other ethnic groups as well. This year marks its 10th, an achievement deserves celebration.

Time: Saturday 7th April 2018, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

There will be activities you may join on the spot. There will be bouncing castle for kids and food stalls for those who love Asian food.

From rugged campsite to 7.5ha resort

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

Grant Kilby has always loved camping. His mum was director of health at the YMCA, and he would attend YMCA camps in the school holidays. “I think it was mandatory that I was there,” he jokes.

He went on camping holidays with his parents, and later, took his own kids.
“Camping’s been in my blood.”
