Christmas Kai & Carols
We would like to extend an invitation to the community for our ever-popular annual ‘Kai and Carols’ on Sunday December 17th beginning with the meal at 5:30pm.
It’s a chance for the local community to come together, have a meal and join in the carol singing, experiencing the real meaning of Christmas. This is a great opportunity for you all to see the Centre in full swing, and to join us in celebrating our Saviour’s birth. The old favourite carols will be sung and the food will be great so please come and join us. We look forward to meeting with you then. Doors open 5pm. Everyone is welcome, just bring yourself. It is free. Cnr of Dominion Rd & Breckons Ave, Nawton.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
