Christmas Blessings and Farewell for now
Hi Neighbours
The Crosslight Trust is moving out of the "home" we have occupied for nearly 30 years. We are very sad to be leaving but we don't have the choice. Crosslight is going into recess for at least a year or two.
We feel so very blessed to have had the privilege of being available to thousands of people over the years and thank all those of you who have either been volunteers, customers, donors, members of our groups and programmes, supporters and those who have come in for food parcel assistance or other help. For food parcel enquiries please contact the Vinnies 07 847 4044 who are the next closest for people living in the Dinsdale/Nawton/Crawshaw areas.
From all of us at Crosslight we wish you blessings for a very happy, safe, healthy, and relaxing Christmas and holiday time.
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
Poll: Are our Kiwi summer holidays helping us recharge, or holding the economy back? ☀️🥝
There’s growing debate about whether New Zealand’s extended Christmas break (and the slowdown that comes with it) affects productivity.
Tracy Watkins has weighed in ... now it’s your turn. What’s your take? 🤔
