Have you considered including a gift to your community in your Will?

The Team from Momentum Waikato

September is Wills Month, so we recommend having a read of the Will Information Pack from Community Foundations of New Zealand - see cdn.blutui.com....

A gift in your Will - a 'Bequest' - to Momentum Waikato is the most effective way you can help 'Create a better Waikato for everyone forever'.

We know the content of a Will is a very personal thing and that your first priority is always to provide for the people you care about. Our offer is something to consider once you're satisfied you've sorted out everything else.

By notifying us of your intent, we can express our gratitude and discuss appropriate recognition.

Bequests to Momentum can be tagged so its resulting and ongoing investment income can go to a specific purpose or charity of your choice, or untagged so we can use it to invest in our transformational projects.

The more we know about your wishes, the better we are able to honour your intentions in full.

Making a bequest is straightforward. If you are interested in having a confidential, obligation-free conversation please contact Janice Lapwood on 022 151 2854 or janice@momentumwaikato.nz.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
