Waikato dog trialist worried about lack of young blood
After a lifetime out on the hills with his dogs, north Waikato cockie Maurice Yearbury is as passionate about dog trialing as ever - although he’s worried about not enough young people share his passion.
Yearbury, 70, has been president of the Waikato Centre Sheep Dog Trial Association for about five years now and reckons the centre is struggling to bring in youngsters.
