Review: Iggy Pop retains his raw power in star-studded Taupō show
It might have been headlined by the grand old grandparents of punk rock, but there were plenty of granddaughters and grandsons in the crowd for this year's iteration of the Greenstone Summer Concert at the Taupō Amphitheatre.
The cross-generational appeal of Iggy Pop and Joan Jett was underscored by a big contingent of teenagers deliriously pogo-ing away, as old grey-heads standing next to them sagely nodded their noggins in time to the music.

‘Simply irresponsible’: Wallaby likely kept as pet in Hamilton, regional council says
A wallaby spotted in Hamilton was probably kept as a pet, the regional council says - and that’s “simply irresponsible”.
