Brothers 'super stoked' as Raglan home nets Master Builders awards
During six years in business, Hamilton brothers Mike and Cameron Holmes have struggled though a pandemic and a recession - but now they’ve won two Master Builders House of the Year Awards.
The brothers, who own and operate Nixon Builders, have come away from the weekend’s awards ceremony with two top gongs for their bespoke Raglan retreat - the National Supreme House of the Year under $1 million and the National New Home Award for $750,000 - $1 million properties.

‘Simply irresponsible’: Wallaby likely kept as pet in Hamilton, regional council says
A wallaby spotted in Hamilton was probably kept as a pet, the regional council says - and that’s “simply irresponsible”.
The dama wallaby, which had an immature joey in its pouch, was spotted in Frankton on March 3, reported and killed, Waikato Regional Council says.
