Residents first on the scene of a fiery crash in Hamilton that left three people injured, one critically, have described the confronting scene.
The crash happened on Holland Rd in Fairfield just before 8pm on Wednesday and the badly damaged car caught fire after the initial impact.

A wallaby spotted in Hamilton was probably kept as a pet, the regional council says - and that’s “simply irresponsible”.
The dama wallaby, which had an immature joey in its pouch, was spotted in Frankton on March 3, reported and killed, Waikato Regional Council says.
