What do you think of this lease situation?

Libby Reporter from Waikato Local

A Morrinsville kindergarten paying $155 a year to use council land has asked for a lease extension, or suggested it could be gifted the property to secure its future.

But Central Kids, the owners of the kindy at 20 Rushton Place, could be in for a shock. Matamata-Piako District councillors delayed making any decisions and instructed staff to get a market valuation of the site, and investigate possible new lease conditions.

On Wednesday, Strategic Planning and Policy committee members debated the council’s submission on the proposed rates cap model.
