Poll: Did you know about George Clarke's NZ links?

Libby Reporter from Waikato Local

The Amazing Spaces TV presenter and architect George Clarke is in New Zealand and he is making a request for Kiwis to get behind a rebuild of a Coromandel beach town’s 1970s Surf Life Saving Club.

The club’s building in Whiritoa has a special connection for the UK’s Clarke as it was built around the same month and the same year that he was born, he said in a video posted to Facebook.

But whether Hamilton East’s Ryan Hamilton, Hamilton West’s Tama Potaka and soon-to-be Labour list MP Georgie Dansey have the combined power to shunt transport minister Chris Bishop and Prime Minister Christopher Luxon onto their line of thinking remains to be seen.

Are you a Te Huia fan? Tell us more in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).
