Have you noticed a lack of lollipop signs in Hamilton recently?

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

As farmers prepare to flock to Fieldays, Hamilton commuters are suddenly finding themselves with a clear run through the city’s roadworks drafting gates.

Like some kind of miracle drug that clears up congestion in the body’s arteries, the stop-go controls on many of the city’s roadwork sites have been simultaneously stood down. The traffic can now get through without having to wait for someone clad in hi-vis holding up a red lollipop sign.

Poll: Would you commute by public transport if it was free?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Using your car is convenient, except for finding parking.

Cycling lets you leave anytime, but you might arrive soaked.
