Talking to several people I have found this isn't a rare happening but actually more common annoyance than expected with several other stories of similar trouble. These work vehicles and similar vehicles have tyres which cost several hundred dollars to replace and it seems a fair amount of vandalism is stabbing the tyres where the only repair is full tyre replacement. Please keep your eyes out for these lunatics and lets put a stop to more destruction of others lives as this problem is made easier by so many hiding on their computers while the world passes them by.

Polar is looking for a new home. She was adopted from DC about a year ago. Since then she has been training as a land sled dog but unfortunately her feet are not standing up to the longer distances on rougher ground that is required for the sport and she would be happiest in a different home. This is a tough decision but is the best decision for her.
Here's what her current owner has to say about her: "Polar is a very happy and energetic girl who is used to running around in the country with her doggie friends. She is very fit and will need the chance to run around every day. For the last year she has been an outside dog, but enjoys her inside time when she can get it. Very good manners inside and house trained. She has lived with my 8 year old son and new born girl with no problem, but can get over excited sometimes."
Polar is easy to have around, was crated indoors while in care here with no issues. She has great drive and is very speedy & fit so would also suit other dog sports such as agility. Social with other dogs, and was around my cat while in care last year. Polar requires a home where she can receive a good amount of exercise, and have plenty of love & training. Polar has had a few homes already (no fault of her own) so would really love her next home to be forever.
**Original ad** Meet Polar! Polar has the sweetest nature and is very submissive. She would be great in a home with kids. She is easy to have around and knows all the basic commands. Polar is toilet trained and also crate trained. She is currently fostered with 3 other dogs and would love a home with another dog! She is super social and plays very nicely. She likes to be close to people and will be your best buddy. She is quite speedy and learns quickly so would make a good agility dog. Breed: Greyhound x She isnt very tall but has a very slim build. Age: Approx 1 year Located: Hamilton She is great with other dogs, very playful and loves to swim! Polar would be best suited to a home without chickens. She would probably be okay with a confident cat. Polar will go to her new home desexed, at least first vaccination, microchipped, registered with NZCAR, council registered, worm/flea treated so an adoption donation is asked to help recover part of her rescue costs.

People can now submit their building consent electronically, as well as track its progress online.
Waikato District Council is accepting consent applications that are emailed with a file share link (e.g. Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive) or applications saved on a USB stick.
Previously people had to print out two application copies and physically bring them in to one of our offices.
People can still submit paper applications if they wish, but they will only have to supply one copy.
“These changes will reduce printing costs for our customers, saving them money as well as time,” says Building Quality Manager Merv Balloch. “It makes it much easier for people that aren’t near one of our offices or don’t have time to drive and physically bring them in.”
People will now receive an application number at the beginning of the process which will make it easier if they want to make a payment online. It also means they can track their building consent online.

Managed to cut call short then phd Spark. They do not ph people if their computers are slow due to internet problems. The calls from Spark technicians are not the actual Spark technicians so be very aware that these people are scammers. Spread the word.

If you love talking to people, are computer savvy and like organising, then this is the role for you.
We are looking for someone to assist our existing volunteer coordinator with her duties on a casual basis, about a week or so every month OR two weeks at a time every 2 months.
Your main responsibilities will be taking calls from residents in the Cambridge community who require transport to medical appointments in Hamilton and coordinating with our volunteer driving team to arrange the journey. Your key role would be to match the needs of residents to the availability of our volunteer drivers.
This role can be done from home and we will provide a mobile phone to take calls on.

We've shaken up our pricing in the Waikato which means you can get an even sharper deal on your power.
Switch your main home to Powershop and we guarantee to save you money over your first year with us compared to what you’d pay if you stayed with your current power company.

We’ll even kick-start the savings with $150 worth of free power spread over your first three months. That’s a power deal worth making some noise about.
