She now has some stock left that she has reduced in price, as she is anxious to sell it over the next couple of weeks. She has a facebook page Kitchen and Christmas and a TradeMe channel KitchenandXmas. Some of these make lovely stocking fillers, or complete gifts. All Department store quality. This Christmas we have decided to give one deserving family who may be struggling at this time of year half a champagne ham. We will also drop this off to your family if you are in the Hamilton area.
You don’t need to post your reasons but please only please show interest if you are a family who may not be able to have ham or meat on Christmas Day.
We believe in paying it forward and doing some good for others at a time when it can be so stressful. If you are interested, please reply or nominate somebody else and our children will choose the recipient. Merry Christmas everybody and pay it forward!!

Here are 3 pics of the trash I picked up along Crawford Road the last 3 mornings. Mostly alco-pop cans and junk food wrapping - there is a theme here.
So, in the spirit of being part of the solution, I propose that we all adopt a stretch of road and take it upon ourselves to pick up the trash and bin it with our own rubbish.
Now I know YOU didn't biff that trash but unless someone picks it up, it will continue to be an upsetting eyesore each time you drive past. Once you see it, you keep seeing it and it doesn't disappear....'Someone should do something' - yep, and that someone is you and me.
I'm thinking of hitting up our Councillor Noel and asking him to fund a few signs saying 'KEEP THE CAN IN YOUR VAN' or " DON'T BIFF YOUR TRASH, YOUR MOTHER'S WATCHING' or 'DON'T BIFF YOUR SH**'. but he'll probably say no.
Thoughts??

Last summer we embarked on an ambitious project to make a dent in the wasp population in the Nelson region. We fundraised and were able to lay 390km of bait lines in some of the region's most popular recreational areas, effectively making 10,000 hectares wasp free.
This summer we are delighted to announce we are expanding the programme to other parts of the country which are also affected by high wasp numbers. Vespex is laid in bait stations in late January and February when wasps change to a protein-based diet. It is of low toxicity and safe for bees. Results from last summer showed it has a 95%-99% success rate.
While a small amount of work is Government funded, we're going to raise more funds to get as many areas baited as possible, and we need your help. Go to our Popshop page to contribute to a wasp-free region
So join us in the battle. The more we raise the more areas we can cover.
