The lineup for this summer's arts festival was revealed at a special gathering at Turtle Lake on Wednesday night.

There are more than 50 performances ranging from opera to immersive theatre to K-pop and many other forms of artistic expression.

The performance venue list has also expanded. It will now include the Meteor and Clarence Street theatres, Garden Place and Victoria On The River.

Learn about the 'Reason for the season"! The grotto is open tonight from 6-9pm and every night til the 22nd Dec. We also have a carols service on the 22nd so bring the kids!

We've hit water alert level one!

We’ve hit water alert level one and with this comes some restrictions. Sprinklers can only be used between 6 to 8am and 6 to 8pm, however hand-held hosing can be done at any time.

Power lines relocated for new bridge over Waikato River
