Plant- based Cooking class
This course will give you options to cook vegan food in different and delicious ways. This could be a step to change your food habits. Those who are willing to change and adapt to healthy food habits can join the course. This is a 2-hour long class that runs for 6 weeks. The cost for the course is $100 for 8 weeks. Derelict Tokanui Hospital site in line for a clean-up
Derelict Tokanui Hospital buildings will be demolished and contaminated land cleaned up so the site can be offered back to iwi.
The former psychiatric hospital, southeast of Te Awamutu, sits on land taken from Ngāti Maniapoto under the Public Works Act in 1910.
